Tangiers Petroleum Eyes London AIM Listing

Oil and gas explorer Tangiers Petroleum Ltd. (TPT.AU) said Tuesday it plans a secondary listing in London to tap rising interest for its energy assets among European investors.

The Australia-listed company, which last year changed its name from DVM International Ltd., said it appointed RFC Corporate Finance Ltd. to advise it on joining London's Alternative Investment Market later this year.

Perth-based Tangiers Petroleum has assets in Australia and Morocco, including eight permits covering more than 15,000 square kilometres on the Atlantic Margin near the Canary Islands.
